This pathway to Permanent Residency is available to holders of Subclass 457, 482 (TSS) and Bridging Visas A, B or C. Businesses can nominate foreign workers once they have worked with the Business full time for two years in most circumstances.

Direct Entry Stream
This pathway is available for internationally skilled workers whose nominated occupation appears on the Medium Long-Term Skills Occupation List (MLTSSL), and the applicant has a positive Skills Assessment. If all other criteria can be satisfied, businesses can nominate the international skilled worker for Permanent Residency without the worker having worked for the company previously.

Temporary Residence Transition
This pathway is available to skilled workers living in regional areas. Due to the unique skills shortages in these areas, businesses can access occupations on the Regional Occupation List (ROL) that may not be available in urban areas. An applicant must hold a 457, 482 (TSS) or Bridging Visas A, B or C and have worked for their employer full-time for at least two years in most cases.
